What our socks are
NeuroSockz are everyday comfort apparel. They are socks with individual toe compartments, a non-slip grip sole and a shaped arch panel.
What they are not
They are not a medical device. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Specifically, we do not claim that our socks:
- treat, cure or improve neuropathy, diabetes, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, bunions or any other condition
- repair nerves or improve circulation
- relieve pain
- prevent falls
- are a substitute for professional medical care, prescribed footwear or orthotics
They are not doctor-approved, FDA-approved or medically certified.
Please talk to a professional
If you have a foot, nerve or circulatory condition — or diabetes, reduced sensation in your feet, a wound, or any concern about balance or falling — please speak to a doctor, podiatrist or physiotherapist before changing what you wear on your feet. Reduced sensation in particular means a poorly fitting sock can cause damage you might not feel. Professional advice about your own feet is worth more than anything we can tell you.
About grip
The grip sole is designed to provide traction on clean, dry indoor floors. It is not a fall-prevention device. It will not grip reliably on wet surfaces or loose rugs, and it does not replace appropriate footwear, handrails or mobility aids.
