How They Work

Five steps, from opening the pack to keeping them going.

1. Individual toe compartments

Each sock has five separate knitted compartments. Put them on the way you would put on a glove — start with the big toe, then work across, easing each toe into its own pocket before pulling the sock up. It takes a few seconds longer than a normal sock the first time, and becomes automatic quickly.

2. Natural toe movement

Once on, your toes are held apart rather than pressed together. Wiggle them. You should feel each toe able to move on its own. If the compartments feel tight at the tips, you are likely between sizes — see the size guide.

3. Arch support and fit

The shaped arch panel should sit snugly under the arch of your foot, not across it. The heel should sit in the heel pocket. If the sock twists as you walk, it is usually a sign the size is too large.

4. Grip traction

The grip pattern goes on the floor side. It is designed for traction on smooth indoor surfaces — hardwood, tile, laminate, studio floors. Grip works best on clean, dry floors; it will not grip well on wet surfaces or loose rugs.

Grip is not a substitute for appropriate footwear, handrails, or professional advice about balance.

5. Everyday use and care

Wear them around the home, in the studio, or inside shoes. Turn them inside out to wash so the toe compartments clean properly, and dry them flat or on low heat to protect the grip and the elastic.

[MERCHANT TO COMPLETE] Replace the care guidance above with the verified care label instructions for each product — wash temperature, cycle, bleach, tumble dry, iron. Add step-by-step photography or a short video for step 1.
